This group is dedicated to discussing and sharing knowledge about the use of anionic surfactants in agriculture. Anionic surfactants, used as pesticide emulsifiers, have been reported to significantly reduce the required amount of emulsifier, thereby improving the chemical stability of pesticides, reducing costs and pollution, and increasing utilization efficiency. We explore the addition of anionic surfactants to insecticides, rust removers, and plant growth regulators to enhance soil quality. Discussions will cover how anionic surfactants improve pesticide efficiency through various mechanisms, particularly their ability to increase foliar uptake of herbicides, growth regulators, and defoliants, and their use as soil conditioners.
