Depuis, j’me méfie plus.

  • It’s fascinating how technology changes investment habits. Traditional assets used to mean long-term, bulky investments, but now digital solutions let people diversify more easily. The way markets are opening up through tokenization reminds me of how crowdfunding changed startup funding—making everything more accessible to a wider audience.

  • I’ve seen friends go through both setups with their relatives, and it always struck me how different the support systems can be. Sometimes it’s more about the team around the patient than the actual label on the care. The people involved — the nurses, social workers, etc. — make such a huge impact. It’s never one-size-fits-all, but when that support clicks, you can feel the difference it makes for everyone involved.

  • Yeah, I went through something kind of like that with my uncle. He had advanced heart disease and was getting palliative care for a while before he transitioned to hospice. One thing I learned is that palliative care can start way earlier, even while someone’s still getting treatment. It helped a lot with managing his symptoms and keeping things calm for the whole family. Later, when the focus shifted to just comfort, we made the move to hospice. There’s a good breakdown on the differences here: Hospice vs. Palliative Care . It really helped us figure out what would work best at each stage.
